SL Masonry Veneer is specified and estimated according to DIN 1053-1 and DIN 18 330 (VOB Part C) “Masonry Work“. It is important to define in advance the appearance requirements of SL Masonry Veneer.

The mortar must not be too dry during work, and must be protected from combustion. Dry block must be sprayed or dipped in water ahead of time.

The blocks are to be laid in bond fully jointed without any cavity spaces. After completion the freshly laid masonry must be protected against drying too quickly due to exposure to strong sun and wind or rain and frost by hanging it with plastic sheeting or similar material.
