SL-Precision Blocks are laid tightly together in offset bond and aligned with a rubber hammer as necessary. The bricklaying must be done in a bond pattern. A minimum offset dimension of 0.4 h or .45 mm, in which h equals the brick height, is required by the DIN 1053-1 building regulations. The higher value is the controlling factor in this case.

For a brick course height of 25 cm, maintain an offset of 10 cm; for a brick course height of 12.5 cm, maintain an offset of 5 cm.
