Processing Masonry

Precision Block

SL-QUADRO is laid in thin-bed mortar, which is included in the scope of delivery in the form of drymix mortar. The drymix is mixed on site with tempering water in the quantities stipulated by the manufacturer. It is utilized within the designated time limit for workability, using the type of notched tool indicated on the sack of mortar.

The thin-bed mortar is applied using a mortar sledge after the masonry has been swept clean and possibly wetted down in advance. The joint thickness in the finished masonry should be a full 2 mm, which means an application of fresh mortar 3 to 4 mm thick.
