During the course of over 50 years of manufacturing and selling sand-lime brick, our company transformed itself from a small purveyor from Baden became a nationally prominent corporation focusing on eastern and southern Germany as well as Switzerland.

1955: Founding of the "Badische Hartsteinwerke" company in Durmerheim

1971: Becomes part of Heidelberger Cement Co.

1999: Joins with Baustoffwerke Durmersheim and Neuper Beton to become Heidelberger Baustoffwerke GmbH

2004: Founding of Heidelberg Sand-Lime Brick Inc.
