Walls and Areas of Application

Partition Walls

Interior walls are primarily used to divide rooms and spaces and to distribute loads.

Interior walls may or may not be constructed as load-bearing walls. Load-bearing walls may carry higher loads when built with a wall thickness of only 11.5 cm. Visually, whether installed as finish masonry or coated with plaster, interior walls of sand-lime brick offer multiple design possibilities.

Sand-lime brick interior walls meet the toughest noise protection and fireproofing requirements. Due to their high thermal storage mass, they contribute significantly toward insulating against heat gain in summer.
