Sand-Lime Brick
- Sand-Lime Brick is a relatively small masonry unit that is smooth on all sides and is laid by hand.
- Standard mortar is used during construction creating a 12 mm thick horizontal joint in the finished masonry. A layer of mortar is also used on head joints, with a joint thickness of around 10 mm.
- Several grades of Sand-Lime Brick are available: veneer, industrial face brick, and “back-up brick”, which can be coated with stucco after construction.
- Sand-Lime Brick may be employed in all masonry construction.
