Laying brick with a masonry lift facilitates a very fast work tempo without causing physical strain. The lifting machine can be moved along the floor slab. It can carry from 250 to 300 kg. It has a 5 meter overhang, a hook height of 4 to 4.5 meters above ground, and a telescopic tower that can extend up to 6 meters. There are masonry lifts available with and without electric traction drives, as well as with and without electric rotary and trolley drives. The hoisting gear can be operated at two speeds: 1.5 m/min and 8.0 m/min. This enables both a quick rate of work as well as fine alignment for laying SL-QUADRO.
Motorized drives can make it possible for a single mason – without excessive exertion – to function on his or her own.
Masonry lifts are designed so that they can be delivered by lorry and set up very quickly.
A special gripper is available for SL-QUADRO. This gripper has swivelling grip bolts for grip distances of 12.5 cm and 25 cm. This enables easy handling for one-man operation. With the control unit, the bricklayer keeps the gripper with both hands.
